"What person or event inspired
your love for wild birds?"
Was there a special person in your life, or perhaps a singular event that inspired your love for wild birds? Maybe a grandmother that taught you about the birds that came to her feeder? Or maybe you were hooked when a pair of birds set up housekeeping in your yard? Somehow, you became interested in feeding and learning about our wild birds--and loving them.
We want to hear about it!

How to Enter:
We’re looking for inspirational, heartwarming, comical or funny stories that tell us how you came to love your wild birds. Please send us your essay, 300 words or less. You may include up to 4 photos in jpeg. format to help tell your story, but photos are not required to enter. Send images as attachments and not part of the message body. As we receive entries, our marketing team will choose up to two finalists per week and we’ll post them for you to read! The last essays will be accepted on December 15th and the winner will be announced on December 18th. The winner’s prize will be shipped out on Monday, December 22nd –so be sure to include your shipping address! Email entries to rbrune@duncraft.com. All stories and photos become the property of Duncraft and may be used in printed materials or on our website at our discretion.
